Don't get me wrong - I hate the Big Three automakers, but I do feel sorry for their workers, sorta:
"The Senate said, we'll give you the loan only if the factory workers take a $20 an hour cut in wages, pension, and health care. That's right. After giving BILLIONS to Wall Street hucksters and criminal investment bankers—billions with no strings attached and, as we have since learned, no oversight whatsoever—the Senate decided it is more important to break a union, more important to throw middle class wage earners into the ranks of the working poor than to prevent the total collapse of industrial America." -- Michael Moore
What I really hate is Wall Street Socialism. It was SO EASY to bailout the Wall Street gamblers; I suppose their jobs really mattered to our Congress. No, here's an idea -- maybe our Senators and Representatives should take a pay cut, and maybe loose their free healthcare, too.

Hero
"A fighter jet on a training flight careened into a suburban neighborhood in the Californian city of San Diego Monday and slammed into two homes, killing three people. The pilot safely ejected, officials said." - Reuters
Another hero - better than Bush, worse than Cheney.
Bah, f-ing humbug. Which family has a Merry Xmas?

Medal of Freedom
For Kenneth Adelman, "the most dispiriting and awful moment of the whole administration was the day that Bush gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to [former C.I.A. director] George Tenet, General Tommy Franks, and Jerry [Paul] Bremer—three of the most incompetent people who've ever served in such key spots.
Mr. Bush, the little Shrub, thought those folks deserved honors.
I piss in his pissy direction.
